First, I converted ASF to AVI using direct stream copy in Virtual Dub 1.3c.
I can open either ASF or AVI directly in TMPGEnc without problem, but I want to do processing first with Avisynth.
For some reason, when I use the ASF or AVI as the source in a AVIsynth script, opening the script in TMPGEnc doesn't work, I just get a black preview (no video). However, the avs file opens just fine in WMP.
What's going on here? Should I be using AVISource or DirectShowSource?
Has anyone out there successfully frameserved a video with the MP43 codec to TMPGEnc using AVISynth?
I'm using TMPGEnc 2.511 and AVISynth 2.51 if that matters.
