  1. I have movie thats 799mb DVNVCD a cd that I want to burn or copy on cd.

    How do I do it? do I copy as a image?
    I use Nero.

  2. If this is already on disc just do a disc copy with nero.

    If this is a VCD compliant mpeg file use nero to create a VCD from it. You can get almost 800mb on a 700mb cd when burned as VCD, you may need to slightly overburn as this is right on the limit.

  3. I waited about a hour for Nero to do its "encoding' but when it was done I got a error "wrong perameters" and it stopped .

    what am i doing wrong?


    The 799mb movie is on my hd. not cd.

    I think Craig meant to use Nero to burn, not to re-encode. Before I knew any better, I let it re-encode and wound up with a huge file.
    Nero checks for compliancs, says not compliant, tell it to "Burn non-compliant file" and let it go.
    I have had DVD2SVCD files of something like 824 meg fit on a 700 meg CD-R, play very well, too.
