I want to author for video, thats my main goal, but it would be nice to throw some stuff on the disc, like original files ect. accesible from my PC without affecting the main video. How and what program would I use to do so. Also, I would like to make the rom content web enabled so when I put it in mny DVD-ROM it will automatically access a webpage.
Anybody doing this level of authoring yet? If so, please give us some details.
thx.

You should be able to easily do what you want.
I create a folder called "Text" and another called "Covers" for example when I want them on the dvd for later re-use.
Along with the video and audio folders you can pretty much put whatever you want as long as it is authored for Video... I use Nero to burn myself and they all play fine. Take a look at a Commercial DVD that also auto runs when put into a PC DVD Drive.
That will give you an example of how to do autorun....
007 Die Another Day offers to install a player, The Matrix offers to install extra features... Looking at hos they are done should tech you what you need to know. Don't forget that what you use for space for that stuff is lost to video quality.
BTW don't be so impatient looking for replies, I'd bet some that could help skipped helping because you bumped it so soon.
Good Luck
