I've convered a small iMovie movie to DVD because I didn't like SVCD's bitrate, and since the movie is so small, why not fill the whole CD, and not get a small sized SVCD ? Anyway, I've read about this, this guy burned a "DVD" file onto a CD-R. How can I do this ? To burn DVD files on CD-R will be a better option if you have small movies I think. And all DVD players understand DVD So there won't be any problems as there is with VSVCD and so on. I get several parts, do I need all of them.

    Horror.DVD
    Horror.dvd.img
    Horror.mpa
    Horror.mpg
    Horror.mpv

Takes up alot of my disk space

  2. I think that you need only to burn

    Horror.dvd.img

The other files will be good for other treatments. See the tutorials.

You shoud see if your dvd player will read it. Your computer will but I've make bad experience with some players.

    Good luck

You do have to burn it as a DVD... Just the .img file wil fail... I don't know how to burn a DVD, but a VIDEO_TS map and other stuff must be added to the mix...

This is a folder containing a VIDEO_TS structure and can be burned by dropping it to Toast in "DVD" mode.

This is a DVD disk image and can be burned with same results by dropping it to Toast in disk image mode, OR by using Disk Copy.

Burn *.img files with Stomp RecordNow MAX.. That program supports that Image-format..
