    I was just wondering If I could make my pioneer A05 into an external writer. If so how and where could i get the equipment to do so(UK). How slow is external writing compared to an internal writer. Thanks for n e feed back.

    you would need external exclosure. it work with USB2 or Firewire.. it's about 50$.. don't know where to get in U.K.

    That looks like it would work, however you might want to try to find some kind of enclosure. Maybe something like this, not sure where to find in the UK though.
