I have some old backup I made in DIvX and Xvid long time ago
since I have a DVD burner and some Princo disk to scrap, I would like to try some conversion.
I did the tutorial with TMPGEnc, but I can't keep the aspect ratio. It's always 4:3 or with 2 black bar left and right (???)
How May I convert those movie and keep the ratio !
thanks

I think you should just pull out the original discs that you made backups of and use a DVD compression program to make it fit on your DVD.
the quality from divx to DVD is not good at all -

the only way I can get the good ratio is select manual resize and put 720 * xxx but i don't have the exact same ratio
