menu made with MovieFactory 2 doesn't show right

Hi

I created a DVD from videoclips with a menu in MovieFactory 2. When I play it on my PC everything looks great but when I play it on a standalone the menu seems to be zoomed in, resulting in that you can see only 75% of the background image and are missing some text I put in the corners of the background image. I created images with a 752 x 576 resolution which is the same resolution of the backgrounds shipped with MovieFactory.

Does somebody know why this happens?

Same happens to me mate, and sometimes the text changes colour too! I can't help you, but at least your not alone eh!

What you are encountering is probably not related to Ulead DVD MovieFactory at all.

Instead, you are probably experiencing 'overscan.'

OVERSCAN is a phenomenon associated with television screens and *not* computer screens.

This would explain why you're seeing the outer edges on a computer monitor, but not seeing them on a TV monitor.
