    I recently bought a Sony DV Camcorder.

    I have been able to send the DV movie data to my computer via firewire.

    How do I send it back to my computer?

    Is there a software program that will do it?

    Many programs send it back and forth between your camera and computer. The one I use is Video Studio 6.

    Yep. Ulead VideoStudio should do it.

    I have not tried myself, so I can't give details, but I have noticed the different mode.

    EDIT:
    Looks like we hit submit at the same time, TommyKnocker.

    Don't flame me, but I also found that EZ CD Creator 6 does this as well. Has a much simplier interface them some of the more high powered programs. Captures directly to your writer as well DVD. SVCD. VCD formats.
