Help need with Ulead DVD MF2

I have authored a DVD using Movie Factory 2 using 2 mpg files (352x240) with 48 Khz audio. The DVD plays fine, menus OK etc but its doing something really odd and I can't uderstand why.

My menu shows my 2 mpgs - I can select either one using the cursor buttons and press enter and they play. But when I try to directly play by pressing '1' or '2' buttons on the keypad it doesn't work as expected.

Pressing '1' doesn't do anything.
Pressing '2' plays movie 1
Pressing '3' plays movie 2

I would have expected pressing '1' plays movie 1, '2' plays movie 2 etc. DVD is fine except this is just annoying me .

Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it?

I'm running into this, also.

I suspect it varies - according to DVD player - believe it or not.

At least that's my theory because I'm getting different results on different DVD players.
