I've been digitizing video with the Dazzle Hollywood DVD Bridge and have had excellent results so far. The problem I'm having is that TMPG or Virtual Dub will not recognize the raw AVI source file that is created with the Dazzle software so I have to reformat my source AVI file using the Dazzle software to DVD quality, which is the largest file the Dazzle will render and then use the TMPG or Virtual Dub encoders to produce my final MPEG or DivX file. This adds an extra step to rendering and is annoying due to the time wasted. My question is, are there any other sortware programs that would read the line in signal from the Dazzle firewire port so that I could use it to eliminate this extra step. Virtual DUB has line in source capabilities but an error messege comes up stating that drivers can't be found when I'm using it with the Dazzle encoder. Is there a patch or driver update for Virtual DUB or is the Dazzle digitized signal only read by it's own software program. Any help in this matter is appreciated. Thanks.
