I downloaded an AVI video file and the audio is out of sync with the video. Is there a way to correct this, or because it was downloaded was it possibly a bad file to begin with.
Thanks

Open the avi file in virtualdub. Click video - direct stream copy.
Click audio - full processing mode.
Click audio again and interleaving.
Change the startup delays of your audio track.
When your finished, click file - save avi"Today is only yesterdays tomorrow" -
Thanks for your help, but there must be something else wrong, as when I tell it to save I get message No audio decompressor could be found. Any additional suggestions.
Thanks -
You may have a codec problem. Get Gspot form the Tools section and test your file. It will tell you if you have the required audio codec on your system, if not, then you will need to get it.
