  1. Hello,

I have done some looking around and have not seen anything that address my problem (which means I probably missed it). I have messing around with some home video that I saved as SVCD. After I start the process the various dos windows pop up. It then gets to one called C:\Program Files\SVCD2DVDMPG+\mplex.exe and the process stops. The svcd2dvdmpg+ log is listed below, as is the output of the dos window. the only problem I can see is the line that says INFO: [mplex] Selecting DVD output profile (INCOMEPLETE!!!!). Can someone help me out with this. As I have said I have checked here and at the author's website but have not come up with anything.

    Thanks,

    Henry

Fonze73: this is a issue which has come up before. It is due to the fact that you need BeSweet 1.5b17+ as instucted in your "Welcome" email.

  3. Thank you for your reply.

Per the welcome message I went to the listed website and downloaded the latest beta, BeSweet1.5b18 and installed it. Is there someplace I can get BeSweet1.5b17 from or is there something else I missed?

    Thanks,

    Henry

Well if you have 1.5b18 you should be ok. Maybe something in the mpeg structure which is amiss. (that INCOMPLETE msg is just what you get when multiplexing for DVD content)

How about this. when you get to this stage - kill SVCD2DVDMPG. Then kill the dos box. Then type:

    "c:\program files\badgersoft\svcd2dvdmpg+\mplex.exe" -v 2 –f 8 –o out.mpg videopart.mpv audiopart.mpa

from a command window after cd-ing to your working directory. Substitute filenames accordingly (choose the mpg streams which are causing issue). This will give a more detailsed output.

  5. Thanks for your recommendation. I tired it from the dos prompt and the process completed succesfully (go figure). Since that work I tried svcd2dvdmpg+ again and got the same message in the dos window. This time I went ahead and let the program run and kept refreshing the file window which showed the file size of the resulting .mpg increasing. Eventually the dos window with the "error" disappeared and the dvd directories was made.

I don't know what it means. Thanks for the quick response and suggestions.
