menu sizes?

hello chris m8,

i want to make some custom menu templates for PAL and NTSC respectively for use in maestro later.

i only want to use MS paint for this (very basic menus required)

what are the sizes for the menus?
ie; what resolution ect?

Whilst I'm not a Menu guru my understanding is that you need:

- for 4:3 NTSC design in 720 X 534, when done resize to 720 X 480.
- for PAL design in 768 X 576 and resize to 720 X 576

For NTSC 4:3, use 720x540. Then resize to 720x480.
