  1. I have an AVI file [info from Gspot: video=Xvid, audio=mpeg layer 1, bitrate 138 kbs, 48 khz] with some bad frames; the video freezes while the sound goes on. One bad frame not only freezes the video, but replaces it with blotches of color all over the picture. Reading various guides on how to repair bad frames suggests to me that the best option (in order to avoid sync problems, etc) is to identify the location of the bad frames with VDUP-Mp3 Freeze, and then mask those frames.

My problem is that while "Examining frame 29223 of 161372" vdub-mp3 crashes with the error message: VirtualDub Program Error heading a pageful of numbers, with the explanation: Crash reason: integer divide by zero.

Another of my AVI files causes vdub-mp3 to crash, but this time the reason for the crash is "access violation"

Please help me! I would be happy to provide any additional information needed. Thanks.

I get the same error when scanning my SIGNS rip. If anyone knows please help us fix it.

I tried going to the frame BEFORE the offending one, so I could remove the one after it, but even that caused a crash.

    bah!
