    hi there
    I'm using Virtual-Dub 1.5.4(not the pentium 4 version)

    I can't get higher than 128KBPS bit rate


    Can anyone tell me what is needed?
    everytime I try to re-encode a mpg - avi file......they said ACM can't compress the audio or something like that.

    I'm using Pentium III 1Ghz
    512MB SDRAM

    Hi! Maybe a dumb question but do you have the audio set for Audio->"full processing"? If it's set to direct stream copy then you can't really do anything to it.

    What about the "audio conversion" setting? I'm grasping at straws here ...
