Has anyone gotten this working? Windows XP wont load any of the cdr drivers for it (if it did it would prolly blue screen like adaptec easycd 3.5 initally did to win2k). Is there a patch out for it? I've already looked at roxio's site and it doesnt look like there is.

No, I haven't been able to install WinOnCD 3.8 either.
Furthermore, when I try to uninstall it, the uninstaller doesn't completely get rid of the program.
I've looked around the web for a way to get WinOnCD completely off my system, but it's still there. When Windows loads, it tells me that it has disabled some CD Recording Software that would cause a conflict.
Can anyone help? -
yeah actually i've done a reinstall since i've tried to install it, partially because winoncd didnt completely uninstall. Try deleting the roxio drivers out of the windows\system32\drivers folder.

I did get the drivers out of the path you mentioned, and then I had to remove several registry entries. Now the system boots up just fine.
Roxio should be ashamed for their horrible uninstallation process.

Did you guys get that 'CD Recording Software' error when yoou installed WinOnCD? It says something like the driver was not loaded because it conflicted with Windows XP's CD drivers? If so, how do you remove, I keep getting it even if I un-installed WinOnCD.
