  1. After using DVD2AVI to extract 2 files from DVD, I have 2 files : the first file is .d2v and the second file is .lpcm. When I tried to import to DVD Maestro it only accept the .lpcm file but it rejected .d2v file. Can someone help me to make my .d2v file accept by DVD Maestro? Thank you.

  2. The d2v file is generated for use with TMPGENC only

Once you run the audio and Video files (pcm and d2v) through the selected script in TMPG you then will have a new mpg

Use mpg tools inside TMPG and De-multiplex your video and audio streams

Load them up into your authoring program...

    Hope this helps

  7. Well in a way you can, just run it trough TMPGEnc and encode a compilant MPEG stream, then remove the .d2v file.

    Voilá!

d2v filed are just a way to frameserve your .vob files to a encoding program. Kinda like an file interpreter for a program to read the vobs. you can also feed this system to CCE for encoding via an avisynth. As you can see by the size of the d2v file, it is a very small language file just used as an in between for the larger files.

PS: vobs can now also be fed directly to CCE via a small plug in for a avisynth. This eliminates the need to even create a d2v, it preforms the task for you when feeding to CCE. I not done a lot of testing of this plug in but it looks promising.
