  1. Using DVD2One v1.13 on a WinXP

I'll start up DVD2One and after about one minute the program will crash!
Not sure what is going on. I've rebooted, tried the program again, still the same crash. I've done a system registry clean, rebooted, still the same crash.

    Anyone else experience this?
Any ideas how to fix my problem?

    Thanks for your time.

  2. I am encountering the same problem. I tried using DVD2one ver1.0, through v1.13.

Were you able to figure out what was going wrong for you.

    Thanks

  3. first use DVD Decrypter to remove the protection. Select all files in IFO mode and save it to your HD. When it's finished, select the saved file and be sure that you select the video_ts folder. Then DVD2One must work.

I did remove the protection with DVDDecrypter (always do) and did select the right VIDEO_TS folder, the problem remained.

    @touche64

You are right I tried every version from 1.0 through 1.13 and still had the same problem. (Did it seem like to you that even though the version shows up on the first window, it was still the latest version---1.13? Very curious!)

Well, I went to the extreme.
I removed every folder and version I could find of the program on my hard drive. Did three registry scans and updates of the registry.
Opened up the case and unplugged the hdd from the motherboard, plugged it back in. Rebooted another three times. Reinstalled the program and that seemed to do the trick! I've done three discs now and no crashes!

Like I said, I probably went to the extreme with the unplugging the hdd, I think just cleaning the registry and rebooting a couple of times and it should work.
    Best of luck!

  8. this may not solve the immediate question/need of fixing dvd2one, but have you thought about using dvdshrink? It takes off the protection and converts it in a few mouse clicks. Look in the tools section for it. I am using v2.0 and am very happy with it (waiting awhile for 2.1/2.2 to get any potential bugs out of it).

I got dvd2one back up and working, not sure about touche64.

I'll give dvdshrink a try --- never hurts to try something new huh?!
You say v2.1 & 2.2 have bugs? What should I look out for?
I remember reading early on on this site that there were some problems with menus or something so I didn't try it out then. Do you know if they got that issue resolved?
