    I have bruce almighty and i am trying to convert to vcd to play on dvd player but when i follow the directions for using tmpgenc all i get is a blank screen when usually you can see the movie frames everything else seems to be going like its working. the file under properties says it is a ms-mpeg4-v3 is there another way I need to convert this file.

    It may be a codec issue.
    Download the required codecs for DIVX etc.

    didnt realize that bruce almighty was out for sale yet

    Are you possibly doing a 2 pass VBR encode on it? If that is true, then for the first 50% it WILL be blank.
