Toshiba SD220 - Problems with DVD-R

I am having trouble playing any movies that I have backed up on the above player.

I have tried using DVD Decrypter, DVD2ONE and lastly DVD X Copy express.

With the 1st 2 I just get a "disk error" message coming up then with "x copy" the inital screen stating that the copy should be an original etc comes up then the player freezes and I have to physically uplug the mains.

I can play other DVD-R disks on the player but not any I burn.

Can anyone offer any help please ?

I am having the same problem. Toshiba say it is to do with the authoring software, I'm using Toast.... does anyone have any clue how to write a DVD on my Mac that will play in the Toshiba SD220?
