Can't make a working copy S-VCD?

I have made a 30 minute S-VCD by using Pinnacle Studio 8. The original disk burned and played fine on my computer. However, I can't seem to make a working copy using Roxio CD 5.0. It burns the disc, but doesn't work. I've tried it by loading the source disc in the DVD drive and the destination disc in the 24X CD-RW drive and also by just burning from the CD-RW drive alone. Neither way produces a working copy of the original. When I look at the files listed, they are all the same as the original, but it just won't play. Any ideas for a newbie.

Problem seems to be in the program you use : Roxio.
Try using another authoring app.

Also be sure, when you encode the MPeG, a (S)VCD header is written (in TMPGenc this is done, when using one of the templates designed for this).

I installed Nero 5.5 and it copied fine.

I did find it curious that before burning it said the disc was copyrighted.
