Importing chapter points in Videostudio 7

I have been experimenting with a editing some home video. I have been using Videostudio 7 and when I change the template manager settings, I lose the chapter points I have created (I think because the program thinks I am making a new project).

Is there a way to import the already created chapter points back into VS 7 from a previous disc burn?

Good question.

Unfortunately, I do not know... yet.

I downloaded the trial of DVD-Lab and was able to important the chapter points that I made in Videostudio 7. I used Chapter Extractor to create a txt file and DVD Lab has the import function built in. It worked like a charm.

I'm liking that DVD-Lab. A bit of a learning curve but a lot of bang for the buck.
