  1. it doesn't work for me, because it says that the DVD is protected. Please tell me how did you do that? Is there something I need to do first before using Intervideo DVDcopy?
a free solution is to rip the dvd first with DVD Decrypter, and then open the ripped files in DVDCopy.
And Princo is your problem. i believe that most people have use them sucessfully if the filesize to be burnt is less than 4.0G. it's at the edge (beyond the 4.0G point) that cheap media usually fail.

Kind of jumped the gun there ... but I was buying a 10 pack at walmart for 23 bucks. But they were Maxell or Memorex.

Until I started going to Fresno and checking out all the computer and electronics stores around there. 45 minute drive from where I live.

The population in the Fresno area is over half a million. Takes a few minutes on the freeways in Fresno to get from one side to the other.

Why am I saying this ... Well I'm from Hanford ... Hanford is about 2 miles one way ... 2 miles the other way ... after that ... cotton fields as far as the eyes can see or corn fields ... Lots of Orchards too.

But we're 2 hours from the snow in the mountains and 2 hours from the waves beating in from the Pacific Ocean. And 4 hours either direction to LA or San Francisco.

Anyways ... the DVD-Rs from CompUsa ... 10 for $8 bucks ... [when they are on sale] their Princos ... and yeah ... they do mess up constantly.

What they are good for is ... for burning in my Panasonic DMR-E50S.

If I feel like wasting my time ... I try one of em for burning a DVD rip ... but they've messed up so much it truly is a waste of time.
