I have had my burner (actualy a Matshita LFD-310) for around six months now and had no probs burning to anything untill recently. I was running win 98se and had to format and reinstall windows but this time win98 not SE as only had that disk (Comp came with SE installed).
After this when I burn a dvd disk with Stomp RNM data or movie it fails 90% of the time. I am pretty sure that it is not the media as I am using the last few from ther same 25 spindle of Traxdata disks that all burnt no probs before.
One thing that I have noticed is that with the drive, when it is burning the light is yellow instead of green. Before it would burn yellow constantly all through the burn, but now it stays yellow for around half the disk the flashes from yellow to green for a while before it fails, like its struggling.
Any help or sugestions would be really great.
