I used premier 6.5 to convert a couple of avi clips to an mv2 and and an uncompressed wav. I would like to use this small one minute movie as an intro to other movies that I encode to mpeg2. What authoring program is good for accomplishing this? Can I use the little movie so that it immediately connects to the larger movie? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    VC
    This is so much fun!

  2. Almost any authoring program will allow you to do this. I personally use DVD Maestro, but Ulead, TMPGenc, neoDVD, etc. all allow this. In fact the only program that I know of that does NOT allow for multiple files is IFOEdit

Should I multimplex the m2v and the uncompressed wav prior to importing to an authoring program?

    Thanks in advance,

  4. If I want to join 2 Films together I do this.
Convert both films to m2v and audio. Author both films, then join in IFO Edit using only the VTS files of both films. I know this is the long way but it always works.
Keep going till you get it right!!!

Some authoring requires that you that(ulead, neodvd) but some(maestro, ifoedit, tmpgenc dvd author) not.
