  1. Just wanted to know if I got some kind of chance to resolve this,or just where to begin for that matter:
    "CDRDOA Disk Info: execution failed:
No driver found for 'HP CD-Writer cd16b' (Use "Force Driver" in the "CD Writer/Reader" settings page to set a driver manually)
    Canot setup device 1,0,0.

  2. I've got a similar HP writer so I think you can get it to work.

Go to the settings section of VCD easy. In the latest version it is under "File." Find the CD writer settings. Go to the "Force Driver" part and choose "generic-mmc" from the options you get there (generic, ricoh, sony, etc).

  3. The settings worked,am burning cds using CDRDAO aspi. Saw somewheres, that overburning 80 minute CDs to 800 MB is possible with VCDEasy, perhaps alongside with NERO....you know anything about that?

  4. When you burn a VCD or SVCD or audio CD it uses a format (mode 2) that gets more information per CD (and less error correction than an regular data format.) This is not "overburning."

So, for VCD or SVCD you get 750 MB for a "650 MB" CD and 800 MB for a "700 MB" CD.

VCD Easy adds about 15 MB for its own formatting, so the max mpeg file you use should be about 785 MB (for an 80 min. 700 CD).
