I recently downloaded an encode of a Roswell episode. The info at the end of the file name is svcd.sc and the file type is .mpg, a Stonecutters encode. Viewing the file with either WMP or PowerDVD 4.0 gives only garbage audio and video. The problem seems to be that the Stonecutters included menus and bonuses with the normal video. I can page through some of the extras frame by frame using WinDVD, but if I simply play it, it skips past about 10 frames and stops.
I also tried burning the video in SVCD format with both Nero and VCDEasy, and neither provided useable results with both PowerDVD and WinDVD. The problem with this is that it burns the entire file as a single video and doesn't recognize the menus as anything beyond more video frames.
Does anyone know what's needed to interact with the menus and view the video? I've been working on this for several days, and I'm stuck. Thanks.

For anyone who's interested, I did find a usable, albiet crude, way to watch the Stonecutter encodes. Since I couldn't figure out how to use the menus, I simply extracted the video from original file using Digital Video Tool's clone file option and starting at the point where the menu's end and the episode video starts.
For anyone that does this later, to find the right spot just take a 20MB or so sample to find the starting point, then clone the whole file from that point to the end. Crude, but effective.
