Hello,
I have a movie that is on my hard drive, in the VIDEO_TS directory, with > than 4.3G of .VOB files. It is not encrypted and I don't mind putting it on two disks. Can I simply burn half of the .VOBs onto one disk (in the VIDEO_TS directory), and do the same with the other half onto disc 2, and expect it to play on the set top, or do I have to actually do some thinking & edit the IFO file? The .VOBs will play individually on the computer.
Thanks in advance for your time, I'm new to this.

you can use vobedit and ifoedit to edit your files and then rebuild a new ifo file for each disc if you want....... but im sure there maybe easier ways to do it :P

Ifoedit .95 has a split to two DVD function. It will automatically slpit the DVD into two directories with separate VIDEO_TS directories for you.
