I have a mega problem concerning the dubbing sync when I use virtual dub and tmpeg.
When I open my avi file it comes up with a bitrate diff which it says on one of these pages i have to get vitural dub mp3 freeze and then check for bad frames. I have done all these and finaly saved the wave with a conversion rate of 44100.
Now when I use tmpeg using both the wizard and normal way i still keep getting the sync out of alinement. Please note if i do a test version of only a few minutes long the dubbing is ok but when i do the proper lengh it then plays up.
HELP I have wasted so many hours trying to fix it with no joy can anyone help

An update to my problem its not the wav file its something to do with the tmpeg program. I have watched the start of the mpeg file I am producing and the dub is in sync up till 14mins approx and then the screen gos all funny and freezes with coloured squares on for a second or two and then after that the dubbing is 2 seconds early.
Is this a fault in using Tmpeg if so has anyone come opon it before?
So what is causeing this problem ??
Or can anyone recommend any software (thats freeware) that does work
