    I am trying to make a dvd with Nero - Burning Rom so that it will play on my ps2 it is 2 avi file do I need to chage it to a mpg or somthing else

    when you did the convert, you did not set the audio file in TMPGENC. There is a spot for video and audio. You should probably split the video and audio in vdub (virtual dub) and then put them back together again in TMPGENC.

    Have you confirmed that your PS2 will play DVD with correct resolutions? Do a search for PS2 playability (dont ask as it has been beat to death in this forum).
