Hello,
I've downloaded a number of TV episodes encoded in divx format that I am burning to DVDs. The episodes are encoded at 320x240 resolution, 29.75 fps (not sure where this strange frame rate came from, but that's what it is). Using the ffmpeg settings for a "high bitrate DVD (NTSC)" with "set 3:2" unchecked and "change framerate to NTSC (29.97)," I've had decent results, but on my TV the video is slightly choppy, although better than during my first try, done with "set 3:2" checked. The video quality in general is not as good as when watching the divx files. Is it necessary to change the video size to 720x480 even though my input video is only 320x240? And is there anything else I can do to improve the quality of the video? Thanks.
