I been burning DVD-R's for a while with no probs. I use all kinds of media (including some cheaper ones) and use RecordNow Max to burn or at least I used to. I upgraded the version and the discs I burned after that would not play in my stand alone. Thats fine cause then I just went to using dvd drecrypter to burn an iso image. Worked fine. But all of a sudden the discs I burn with that wont work either. Its weird cause I burned a movie 2 nights ago and it played fine in my stand alone (Toshiba 5 disc changer) and today I get disc error from the same disc. Now the only app that will work with no problems in any stand alone is Pinnacle IC7? Whats the deal? I am using a Pioneer AO4. Anyone have any clue at all?

I too have had a few problems with discs that work & then not work on my player mainly dvd-rw,what works for me is to keep the disc in the player and turn off the player then back on again this works for me & may work for you.Give it a try u got nothin to lose..
