Just wondering if anyone had a config fro a Focus CommandPost unit for use with Vegas 4 ??? If so, please e-mail me. I'm just getting started with Vegas and a friend had one of these CommandPost units that he's letting me try out.

    Thanks!

  2. i just got one the other day, too...but it didn't come with a driver disk, just the Videowave thing, and that doesn't work... anyone have the multiple app program or know where i can get it?

  3. The app is available at FocusInfo.com. It contains all of the presets as well as the tools you need to create your own. The product doesn't work for most people with Windows XP (XP support is dependent on your motherboard). There are no ready made presets for Vegas 4 as this product hasn't been supported for years. You might want to check out Contour Design's Shuttle Pro or ShuttleXpress, they have templates and know how to support their userbase.

Ok, I actually found a file (don't know how good it is) that will provide a key layout for Vegas3. I haven't been able to try it out because my friend who gave me the CommandPost couldn't find the USB cable and I've been trying to use one from an old USB hub. Apparently the signal lines are crossed or something as I can't get the CommandPost to do anything. I'm going to have to pick up the right kind of cable I think or see if my friend can dig up the original one.

Anyhow, I found the file by searching for CommandPost on the SonicFoundry forums...

    Hope this helps...

  5. Are you using Windows XP (like my earlier message said, XP is a problem for most people who have CommandPost)? All USB A to B cables are the same so there are no crossed signals there.

Nope, Win2K. Crap... I was hoping maybe there was something special about the USB HUB cable. If not, then this CommandPost doesn't work at all...

I guess I could program my Nostromo Speedpad to do a lot of the operations, but I'd still like to have a Jog/Shuttle wheel... I don't feel like dropping the $$$ for the ShuttlePro though.

  7. got the Commandpost to work with XP...as long as it's the only USB input device, it works. haven't tried to do any custom configs yet, but it worked on WMP.

  8. How do I get this thing to work, it shows up, but it does not do anything. The only other USB device I have connected is a wirless keyboard. Is there supposed to be a program running to use it?
