I have an .AVI file :
Video : 582 Mb, 944 Kbps, 23.976 fps, res. 640*352 (16:9), DIVX = OpenDivx v4,
Audio : 118 Mb, 192 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 chan., 0x2000 = AC3 DVM, for audio. Both are supported.
I used VDub to make a new .AVI file (direct stream copy) and new Audio file (direct stream copy and rename to .AC3 as mentioned on many post).
Video is fine, i've already encoded it as video only (MPEG not M2V) with tmpgenc. It loads fine in my authorer.
Problem - Vegas Video or DVD Architect will not accept the AC3 file. Yes the video and audio files are both the same name. It says an error occured during operation. If i try to mux the 2 files with Tmpgenc it says Illegal mpeg audio stream.
What can I do with this AC3 audio file?
Thanks
