  1. Ok I have the ATI 8500 128MB AGP. I used VirtualDub to capture and my avi comes out fine. I just found out that MMC can capture as MPEG or .VCR. So I am planning to capture as MPEG so that I could save some space and time.

So here is my problem....When I use MMC TV player to capture from my vcr. But after 1 hour of playtime the audio is slower than the video for 2 sec. Why is that ?? But if I restart the MMC and play again it works fine...So anybody have any solutions ?? Maybe my drivers and MMC are old ?????

Be sure to reset your computer before capturing.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

Try increasing your page file size... If it's at 500mb increase to your ram size 2gb...
From the looks of your sig maybe another drive for your page file...
( could even have it's own drive ) Read somewhere this would help..

Your system and mine are alike except for your drives... I capture at 720x480 with no sync problems... Latest MMC 8.5... No problems..

  4. Hey guys thanks for the reply...but my problem is that I was just watching movies on VHS through MMC TV and the audio syncs. I haven't try to capture as mpeg or .vcr yet. But I figure my captured file would be sync. too right ?? because after 1 hour of play time I noticed audio is slower than video. Is there a way to fix it ? Well the only way that i know is it restart MMC. But sometimes my capturing needs to go for 3 to 6 hours. So if anybody have any idea please let me know thanks.

P.S. thesuarus1: what do u mean by "increasing my page file size" ?? How do I do that ?? what is it ? Sorry I am not familiar with that...I just started to use MMC to capture as MPEG. I used to use Virtual DUB to captuer....

  5. Make sure TV-on-demand is turned off (the leftmost button with a circle in it)
