Hi all,
After some expirimenting (I had trouble with frameserving, TMPGenc stopped responding) I found out that direct stream copy solved my problem.
Now... my question is: what's the difference between "direct stream copy" and "full processing mode" ?
Anybody ?
Cheers,
Richard

full-processing decompresses the data, applies whatever filters you want, then recompresses.
direct stream copy just copies whatever frames you want without re-encoding. (you can cut frames w/o re-encoding for AVI) -
So... if I understand it correctly (don't flame me if I'm wrong) theoretically subtitling isn't possible, using direct stream copy ?
Cheers,
Richard
