    How about AVI_IO? I'm thinking of trying that one out as I've had some issues with the others mentioned (except for VirtualDub, which gives great caps but lousy for scheduling).

    Scenalyzer has been rock-solid for me.

    I'm looking at iuVCR because of its VCD-like timed recording which Scenalyzer seems to refuse to add to its product. In preliminary tests iuVCR looks good.
