  1. I have to get somee new codecs for my pc, so i can watch DivX , AVI, XviD and so on...... without getting blue collours on my screen. It would be great to look at an movie with the collours that is original for the movie.. .... and one more thing.... if i want to docode the movie to svcd or something.... i don’t weant to end up turning my tv upsidedown......so..... I want codecs that keep the correct collours and picture the right way when i watch it.... I have been lookin for codecs and looked at both guides and the forum.... but i did not find anything that was 100% helpful.

  3. Thanx for the tip..

I have downloaded Nemo, i tryed to decode a film from Xvid to svcd, first I looked at the Xvid version of the movie, at first the screen was green, then I got a picture, but itt seemed that there was two movies playing at the same time. 50% time it was like that, and the rest it was ok…. Dunno if the problems are in the codec, or the movie….

  4. The Green part is normal with xvid, and if the problem with the two movies playing at once was only 50% of the time then it's from the movie.
get someone else to try the movie on their computer.

Lol Jack_d, try this Xvid codec (latest binery one) at http://www.roeder.goe.net/~koepi/xvid.shtml

As for another prog for encoding, try Panasonic Mpeg Encoder i find it works pretty good but it is slower than TMPGEnc.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hope this helps

  7. i've been having the same problem as you guys.....I cleared that all up when i installed bsplayer. The player is fantastic...it cleans the images right up. it also helps if you install ffdshow. these two software can be found in the tools section. hope this helps!
