Searched the forum and possibly missed a good post on how to fix this so my apologies if this is redundant.
Recently acquired three 700MB .avi files in DivX format (lotr: tt) and the video is jerky in all three files every few frames throughout the movie. The audio is fine so I'm looking for a solution to smooth out the video if possible.
Video detail: Resolution: 640x272 at 23.976 fps formatted in DivX at 196kbps.
I've seen some posts about using VirtualDub to remove the bad frames but the combined file size is just over 2 GBs so I'm hoping for a quicker solution if it exists.
If the answer is more than obvious then please forgive my ignorance but I'm still new to the ever expanding world of a/v editing.
Thanks for the help!!!
