Ripping Problems

Hi I am Trying to rip a dvd but i am having problems ripping VTS_01_2.vob of the dvd all the other VOB's rip perfectly. i have a liteon dvd and a nec 1100a burner. When i reap it in the liteon it goes to about 91 000 an then gived an I/O Error an interpretation urecovered error and check condition
In the Nec Burner how ever it goes to abour 530 000 and then gives the same error
any Help or sugesstions would be greatly appreciated

Most of the time this is due to a dirty disk. You might not think it is dirty by looking at it ( I did the same thing ), but the slightest smudge in a particular area can cause this.

Clean the disk real good and try again.

Also, make sure you unlock all the VOBs by playing each chapter in a software DVD player first (like PowerDVD).

what ripper do you use, use smartripper, bt dound dvdecrypter better

might not be a fix, but give it a go, might work

try ripping it in your burner I had this same problem with Band of Brothers and ripped it in my DRU500 with no problem.
