    i have download <edited - see rules> but its a bin file and it has no cue file. do i have to make a cue file or how do i convert the bin file to mpeg to convert through tmpgenc to a smaller file size. i tried using vcdgear but no luck do antone know what to do? please help getting really frustrated

  2. I think ISO Buster will convert your Bin to Mpeg. Also Fireburner will just burn Bin files and I think VCDEasy will also convert for you as well!

  4. Or your .bin could be the complete movie file...

    I have seen some .bin video clips that I am able to view in Windows Media Player after right clicking on them and choosing "open with" then picking WMP...

    It is possible that I can view them because of installed software in my XP install... for example Quicktime 6 Pro or some codecs or ???

    But worth a try... And they can also be converted with Tmpgenc on my machine.

    If there is no .cue for the .bin I'd suspect it to not be a image file but the actual video.

For some reason,I cannot change .bin movies to mpeg or any other file type that you can view the video.I have been searching the internet for weeks now,downloading alot of programs that people say will help.But it never does work.I dont know much about computers,so if anyone can tell me in plain english how to do it,i would appreciate it.

    are you sure the bin file was a mpeg file to start with ?

  7. there are also a few programs like directISO that converts
    bin files to image files you can then brun w/ nero if you
    wish, this is good for "files or programs", you might also
    make images of programs you might have on ur system
    if you really wanted to....
