Haupaugge WinTV Go FM...problem...HELP !!!

This is what happens:

I open Sonic MyDVD for instance...I click on "capture"...then the screen shows up, so I can see the picture I am trying to capture...then I click on capture and it gives me this message:

"Cannot connect to slected video device. Make sure that the device is connected properly and that no other capture applications are running"

Well, it is connected or I couldn't see a picture and I no that no other applications are running. Has anyone else had this problem?

Try re-installing the drivers, that should help.

Remember to say what you are trying to do and how. What device are we talking about, what settings if it is a camera, etc.

Tommy, sorry...I just have my VCR hooked up to it...I can see the picture I am trying to capture....but as soon as I click the record button...I get that error message...I will try reinstalling drivers and see what happens...brb

If anyone else has any ideas, please, feel free to share.

OK, I've reinstalled the drivers and that didn't work...anybody else?
