    I just bought a pack of CompUSA's house brand DVD's. I was told they are supposed to write at 2x and I have read from a previous post that it did write at that speed with the same burner. I am using DVD X Copy, and DVD Decrypter. and they all write at only 1x. Is there anyway to increase the writing speed. I have upgraded the firmware to the latest version. Has anybody had this same problem and was able to fix it?

    okay guys...i figured it out myself. What i did was downgrade my firmware and it worked.
