Please help!!!, I'm very very new to this game.
Ive got an iMac, Dazzle digital photo and video maker (USB device), Dazzle video impression, Iomega Predator cd-rw and Toast 4.1 "DELUXE".

Now, I'm capturing video's from my VCR onto my iMac with the intentions to drop them onto a CDR to make a vcd.

BUT when ever I try dropping my captured movie into the data box in Toast DELUXE 4.1. (Video cd option) an error always comes up telling me that my file isnt a valid disk image and that it isnt a multiple of 2352. This happens as soon as I drop the file into the box.

    What am I doing wrong?

Have I got the right equipment for making vcd's for the iMac?

What is the best programme for the mac that allows you to create VCD file's?.

    PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

  2. I don't know anything about your hardware, but you can't just drop anything at Toast 4 VCD option, unless it's a VCD-image or an MPEG-file created by a program called Astarte M'Pack. You can also try using a free program called VCDGear that has an option called Toast-ready, but this doesn't work all the time for me.

To do your Drag-and-drop thingie you need Toast 5 made by Roxio.

IMHO there is no BEST program. Usually people use Astarte M'Pack, Toast5 or Cleaner5. I suggest you dive for Toast5.
