Hello, I'm having trouble with a movie I have. The source was taken from VHS and is supposed to be svcd. I don't think it is standard svcd or cvd even. After playing it on my Apex 1500, it came out interlaced and all messed up. Playing on the computer, it looks fine. I'm trying to re-encode the film so it'll work on my dvd player. I've tried tmpeg but it'll just freeze; panasonic 2&1 encoder which gives an error when loading it; winoncd 6 which converts but the outcome has a lot of glitches. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to make it work, whether it be another program or a certain way to play on the dvd player. Also, i don't mind re-encoding to svcd or vcd. Thanks.

after using isobuster to open the bins, they are mpgs. when i try to burn using nero, here are the errors given:
-invalid video stream, 25/fps, 352x288 pixels but it is mpeg2. when i try to re-encode with tmpeg, it'll just freeze after hitting start (program not responding). everything i've tried has some type of problem as mentioned previously.
