I have an mpeg (svcd) file that plays in german.
The file title says it is also english.
    How do i switch languages?
    Thanks

  2. Since this is a SVCD (MPEG2) I assume that it was made by multiplexing/muxing 3 streams together: m2v (video) mp2 (audio - german), mp2 (audio - english).

To be honest I don't know anyway to select audio streams from the MPEG (save to demux, then remux with only the english track). However, if you burn it as a SVCD you can switch languages by hitting the "audio" button on your remote (or software DVD player, eg. PowerDVD).

    O.K
My PowerDVD program doesnt recognize the format for some reason.
Also this file is over 700 mb so I have to buy 800mb disks.
Anyway the part about the muxed files is what I was after.
I will try to demux and split the file.
    Thanks

  4. Well an 80min CDR holds 800MB of (S)VCD data. PowerDVD should be able to see the different audio streams in a SVCD (not just the plain MPEG file). Still de-mux and re-mux should do it (I assume )

    Vejita.
Are you saying that the 80min. 700mb cd/rs hold 800mb of data.
I have Nero and I tried to use the overburn option and it said the media was too small for the file.
I must be missing a setting.
