I have a simple still menu made from a jpeg background and a jpeg subpicture, with two buttons linked to two movies.
When I test navigation, everything works fine, but when I compile, the menu does not work in either PowerDVD or my standalone player. I.e. the buttons are not active when I glide the mouse over them in PowerDVD, and the remote buttons don't select them in the standalone.
The vobs play fine if accessed directly, and if I connect "First Play" directly to the first movie, that works. But even then, if I jump back to the menu while the movie is playing, the menu still doesn't work.
Anyone know what's wrong with my menu? Thanks.

Thanks BJ_M. That was it. I had disabled all user actions under menu properties. Funny, I was following the Maestro guide at doom9.org, which suggests deactivating everything for the main menu. So I did that without really thinking about it, and then forgot about it!
