I'm trying to convert some ASF files that I captured to MPEGs to create a VCD. All goes well with the video conversion, but once I convert the ASFs to MPEGs with TMPGEnc Plus, the sound quality goes to hell. It becomes very mechanized. So, I recorded the original WAVs from the ASF (which sound decent, and much better than the MPEGs) and used them to make the MPEG (use the bad sound MPEG as the video source and the WAV from the ASF as the audio source), but my result is still bad sounding. So, why is my audio becoming bad during the conversion to MPEG? Thanks.
Corey
