    How do I connect my DMR-E30 to my TIVO set-up? Replacing my VCR.

  2. Is should be fairly easy...

    Me, I have a ReplayTV, and it sends video out of all the outputs at the same time (coaxial/RF, composite, s-video & component). You should be able to have one output go to your TV and the second go to your DVD recorder.

    What I've done in my own setup is I picked up a SIMA SVS-4D which allows for 4 a/v inputs (svhs & composite in/out with digital & optical audio). As well as the 4 inputs, this switcher has 2 outputs (1 stream goes to the TV and the second goes out to you E-30). This switcher is auto switching/sensing, supports signal conversion (Composite to S-Video and back), and sends both video streams out at the same time (acting as a switcher as well as a splitter without adding any noticable noise). I picked this box up new on ebay for $125...it should be pretty easy to find.

  3. Pretty simple

    Cable/Satellite A/V-Out--------> A/V-In TiVo A/V-Out------->A/V-In DMRE30 A/V-Out------>TV

    You can use Coax, or the RCA jacks (or S-Video with the RCA Audio jacks). Best to use the S-Video whenever available as it will give you the best results.
