I have a DVD image file that I want to put on disc but as I only have a CD-RW I need to convert the file to either .mpg or .avi.
Can any one give me any help?

Open the .img and extract the content with cdmage, isobuster, or virtual daeamon ( www.dvdrhelp.com/tools#other ). Then you will have have a VIDEO_TS folder with some vobs files that you can convert to VCD,SVCD or DivX as usual www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdripping (just skip the ripping part).
